You can customize grade tracking and reporting for each of your classes:
  • Choose between Elementary or Secondary formats.
  • Define your own grading scales using your own codes, percentages, and descriptions.
  • Define your own non-numeric scoring codes.
  • Define your own grading grading periods.
  • Define how much the grade from each grading period contributes the overall grade computations.
  • Group assignments by category (i.e., homework, tests, quizzes).
  • Create categories within categories as many levels deep as you want.
    Example of some categories an elementary teacher might use:
    Math
         Homework
         Tests
    Spelling
         Homework
         Tests
  • Weight categories based on their percentage toward the overall grade.
  • Choose to drop the lowest score(s) in each category or offer extra credit categories.
  • Override grades computed by MyGradeBook.
