School-Home Communication
MyGradeBook helps you communicate with the students you're teaching, as well as with their parents. You can give students and parents password access to view grades online, and notify them by email when new grades are available for viewing.

Keeping parents informed helps motivate them to increase their involvement in their child's learning process. For students and parents, a structured view of upcoming and past assignments, along with scores recorded to-date, helps to keep them on track throughout the grading period. This proactive communication will greatly reduce the need for one-on-one parent conferences, phone calls, and notes sent home.

Student and parent passwords provide access to:
  • Individual student grades and class standing (class standing display is optional)
  • Teacher comments related to the individual student
  • Assignment descriptions and due dates
  • Attendance
  • Class announcements and policies
  • Class calendar
  • Links to your classroom website, if you have one

“Teachers like the convenience of being able to work from home. Since we started using this program, homework is being turned in more regularly and grades are improving. It's great being able to communicate more directly with parents, and it is helpful to parents to be able to check on their children's progress.”
