The Category Grades Report displays the grade and percentage received by students in each category that has the Report Grades box checked in the Categories screen. You can run the report for a grading period or date range. In addition, averages for the entire class are shown at the bottom of each category column and the overall column in the report.
If you want information for more than one grading period, try the Grading Periods (Horizontal) report or one of the many other reports available in the Reports tab.
If your class is using the Elementary Format option, the Category Grades Report will not show overall grade and percentage information since that information is not meaningful to Elementary teachers.
If you uncheck the Report Grades box for a category in the Categories screen, the category will not be displayed in the Category Grades report.
