  1. What you can do with a school/group account? There are many things you can do with a school/group account. You can create a school/group just to save money with a couple of your colleagues but you can also use your school/group account to setup and maintain classes, attendance codes, offical comments, print report cards, print eligibility reports, download grades, download attendance, and much more! Some of the school/group features are listed below.
    • Save money.
    • Enable or disable Integration which is powerful feature that lets you use MyGradeBook as a School Information System so you can setup and maintain class rosters, student passwords, grading periods, attendance codes, official comment codes, and much more for your teachers. You can use screens or files to setup and maintain rosters/sections, grading periods, attendance codes, offical comments and more. Learn more about manual and automated Integration.
    • Create a custom header that will be displayed at the top of every screen and viewed by teachers, students, and parents when they log in.
    • Print report cards, eligibility reports, download grades, download attendance, download official comments, print a grade finalization report, print a missing attendance report, print an attendance report, print an Anecdotal Log report, and much more!
    • View and modify your group account information including the password teachers use to join your group.
    • Revoke licenses of teachers who are no longer part of your group, or who should not have used your group's sign-up information.
    • The student's and parents can login to any single class and see a listing of all their classes. MyGradeBook will recognize which classes in your group account a student is taking based upon a Student DID value. A Student DID (District Identifier) is a number assigned to each student by your school. If all teachers in your group supply this Student DID value on the student records in their classes and they assign passwords to students, then each student will be able to log into any one class and see all of their other classes as well.

      There are two ways that a student or parent who logs in to any one class will see all of their classes.
      1. If your group is using Integration, student classes are automatically linked because class rosters are automatically maintained for the teachers.
      2. If the teacher is in a group that is not using Integration, MyGradeBook will still recognize which classes in your group account a student is taking based upon a Student DID value. A Student DID is a number assigned to each student by your school. If all teachers in your group supply this Student DID value on the student records in their classes and they assign passwords to students, then each student will be able to log into any one class and see a listing of all of their other classes as well.
    • Quickly update all of the passwords used by the students in your group. You can set all of the passwords based on the student's DID value or assign a random password to each student or clear all of the student passwords.

    2. Log in as a group manager and view or modify your Group ID and Teacher Sign-Up Code.
    3. Use the "Teacher Invitation Email" screen to send email invitations to teachers who should join your group. Each email will contain a link and instructions that make it very easy for the teacher to join your group.
